Maya Angelou
Growing up in Montana with a single mom battling MS and a year in foster care taught me early on that resilience and creativity are essential survival skills. These early lessons proved invaluable as I forged an unconventional path combining business acumen with artistic passion. Armed with degrees in accounting and religious studies from Concordia College, Moorhead, and advanced education in hospitality management from UNLV, I set out to prove that creativity and financial stability aren't mutually exclusive.
My theatrical journey began in the halls of Great Falls High School, eventually leading to over 75 regional productions, including performances in New York City and Los Angeles. Before building my acting career, I successfully owned and operated a marketing agency and coffee shop, until 2016 when I took the leap to pursue my artistic calling full-time (what I lovingly call my Holly Shit Fuck Goal). Since transitioning to film and television in 2019, I've been fortunate enough to be cast in more than 30 film projects and 150 commercial projects.
Drawing from this unique blend of experiences, I authored "The Ultimate Survival Gig" (2024), sharing my blueprint for creating location-independent income while pursuing creative passions. Today, I work as an actor, writer, speaker and communications coach, helping others bridge the gap between artistic fulfillment and financial stability. My approach is straightforward: create a solid business plan, then take consistent daily actions toward your goals.
When I'm not on set or coaching, you'll find me cherishing time with my amazing daughter and phenomenal husband, living proof that with the right strategy and unwavering dedication, you can design a life that aligns with your heart's most intimate desires – no matter where you start from.
